Chief Home Design is an Interior Architecture & Design studio and a licensed General Contractor—everything you need, under one roof. We work across residential, commercial, and restaurant environments, offering deep expertise in interior architecture, design development, and permit-ready plan modeling.
Chief Home Design was founded in 2011. It grew naturally from over 25 years of leadership in the home furnishings industry. This experience includes executive roles with Pottery Barn and Cost Plus World Market. It also involves positions with the holding company of Sears, Kmart, and Lands’ End. This background informs our nuanced understanding of brand, trend, and timeless design.
Our clients choose us because we listen. We don’t impose a signature style—instead, we translate each client’s needs, lifestyle, and vision into thoughtful, functional, and enduring environments. We are especially known for up-cycling and re-imagining existing elements, helping clients save money while reducing environmental impact.
Our core team has worked together since the beginning, and we approach every project as a long-term relationship. Many of our clients return to us again and again for new work. We stay engaged, stand behind our designs, and if something isn’t right, we show up and make it right.
