GREEN IN THE KITCHEN
Green has been a significant color throughout history, Symbolizing growth, rebirth, and regeneration. The word “green” comes from Old English, Northumbrian, and Proto-Germanic terms that roughly translate to “the color of living plants”. The color is also closely tied to the human species, which evolved in Africa’s forests and savannas around 300,000 years ago, and humans may have even evolved to see chlorophyll in plants.
